This also allows for a small group of expecting families to gather to learn in a fun way amongst friends and make it a memorable day to look back on!

The class is designed for the birthing person and whoever they will have in their birth with them as support!

Slides with the material will be used to aid visually and will be made available for you to have a copy. There will be hands-on anatomy models and labor comfort tools to work with, as well as opportunity to practice hands-on labor coping techniques, laboring positions, and pushing positions. A personalized Birth Preferences form will be carefully curated together during the session for you to use as a communication tool in your birth.

Topics we will cover include: pregnancy anatomy and baby positioning, phases of labor and delivery, labor coping, pain management and medication options, hospital interventions and complications including cesarean section, newborn care basics, breastfeeding basics, postpartum recovery. Since this is a private class, if there are any particular areas you wish to dive a little deeper into or less of, we can work this out with prior planning! For example, if you are not planning a hospital birth, or if you know you will be scheduling an induction or a cesarean in a hospital, this may change what we cover and how in-depth we go.

Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know! Our consultation gives you the space to walk through common birth preference options, ask questions, and explore what feels aligned with your goals and values- while leaving room for the flexibility birth often requires.

You don’t have to decide on everything right away. This is a conversation designed to help you feel more informed and confident in making decisions that are right for you. Together over a 1 hour call, we’ll create a personalized Birth Preferences PDF that you can use as a communication tool with your partner and birth team.

Absolutely. Whether you desire a birth with minimal interventions or have a scheduled cesarean, we can support the whole spectrum of birth preferences with evidence-based education and help you feel informed and confident for your birth.

A screen with HDMI capabilities is helpful for the slides, but if you do not have one, one will be provided.

A yoga mat and birthing ball is provided if you do not have your own you prefer to use.

In-home classes are available throughout Buda, Kyle, Austin, San Marcos, and surrounding communities within approximately 45–60 minutes of Buda. If you're unsure whether you're within the service area, feel free to reach out—I'd be happy to discuss your location. Additional travel fees may apply.

Most families choose to complete their childbirth education around 30-36 weeks, but the ideal timing depends on your individual circumstances. We recommend booking early to ensure availability.

Getting started is easy! Simply reach out through the contact form, and we'll schedule a time to connect. We'll discuss where you are in your pregnancy, your goals for birth, and which educational offering is the best fit for your needs. From there, we'll find a date and time that works for you and get your class scheduled.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your date and time. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your scheduled service.

If you need to cancel your scheduled service 7 or more days before your appointment, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
If you cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled service, the 50% deposit will be retained, and any remaining balance that has already been paid will be refunded.

Yes! Pregnancy and life don’t always go according to plan.
Each client is eligible for one complimentary rescheduling to their service regardless of when the request is made, subject to availability. Any additional rescheduling requests will be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.
Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to reschedule so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Sometimes babies have their own schedule!
If your baby arrives before your scheduled private class, the service will be considered canceled and the standard cancellation policy will apply.

-If cancelled 7 or more days before the service, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
-If cancelled less than 7 days before the service, the 50% deposit will be retained and any remaining balance already paid will be refunded.

Because the masterclass is specifically designed to include preparation for labor and birth, at this time unfortunately the class cannot be rescheduled after your baby has arrived.
